Chinese man kidnapped 32 years ago has finally reunited with his family, thanks to police and facial recognition technology

Mao Yin, who was abducted and sold to a childless couple when he was just two and a half years old at the entrance of a hotel in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province in central China back in 1988 has finally reunited with his biological parents after 32 yearsMao, who is now 34 years old was raised by the couple as their own son according to Xi'an's public security bureau. Thanks to the facial recognition technology, the police department aged a photograph of Mao from his childhood to find close matches. Li Jingzhi, Mao's mother had quit her job and sent out more than 100000 flyers across the country hoping to find her kidnapped son. Later she even joined a group of volunteers in collecting information about missing children in China and providing details to the police. Till date the government has been able to find 29 abducted children and reunite them with their parents with Li's help.
