The United States further extends Canada and Mexico land-border restrictions

The United States first imposed land-borders restrictions for Canada and Mexico in mid March following the global Coronavirus outbreak. And as these restrictions were supposed to to come to an end today on Wednesday May 20, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on Tuesday confirmed they will further extend the land-border restrictions and prohibit any non-essential cross-border travelling by another month starting today, until June 22.
This is an important decision that will keep people in both of our countries safe, said Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.[no-sidebar]
